Our Story
Past
Our story begins with our Leominster practice in 1985 when Dr. Markowitz’s father started his practice. Dr. Steve Markowitz, anxious to follow in his father’s footsteps, began dental school determined to maintain the high-quality patient care and fun atmosphere his father and grandfather had built in dentistry. When Dr. Markowitz himself had an unfortunate accident, it accelerated Steve’s passion to not only take over the business but to provide the highest-level of personalized care that he could, so he did. This has shaped his dental journey, experience, and outlook on life. Senior Dr. Markowitz is still alive, but this chapter in life has led to the trusting and caring culture that MFD is built on. In addition, this has led our office to be the go-to dental practices in the communities they serve.
Present
MFD has come a long way since 1985. We’ve grown significantly and now have practices at seven different locations in Massachusetts. But what we’re most proud of is our continued ability to offer an exceptional dental experience to our patients, doctors, and team. At each of our practices, we provide a wide variety of dental services, have the latest technology, and treat our patients with the best dental care possible.
Future
The future looks bright for our patients, team, and doctors in the MFD immediate and extended family. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and are looking toward the future with enthusiasm. The opportunities to change the dental industry by creating better experiences are bountiful—and we continue to seek them and grab onto them. We are also mindful of never sacrificing our beliefs and foundation in the process—holding onto the level of care for our patients, ourselves, and the team that has laid the foundation for current success and will keep us strong for future endeavors.
